How to bid

Bid live on site:

To participate in the auction in person, you can register as a bidder on the day of the auction. After successful registration you will receive your bidder number.

Bidding by telephone:

You cannot or do not want to participate in the auction in person on the day of the auction but you are interested in one or more vehicles which you have preferably viewed during the preview! You can use our absentee bidding form to arrange for a representative of TheSwissAuctioneers to call you on the day of the auction. This person will then forward your bids to the auctioneer in time. You stay on the line until the hammer falls and can intervene in the action at short notice.

Bid in writing:

If you are unable to attend the auction in person and cannot be reached by telephone, you have the option of placing a written bid on one or more vehicle(s). In this case, a representative of TheSwissAuctioneers will bid on your behalf on the respective lot number(s). Bids will be called according to the bidding increments specified by the auctioneer. Therefore, ideally and after the minimum price has been reached, the lot may be awarded to you below your written maximum bid. However, if your highest bid is exceeded by other bidders, you will no longer be able to intervene.

Internet bidding:

Would you like to bid from the comfort of your home, office or on the road, but still follow the auction live? Then the best way is to bid online at www.invaluable.com. To do this, simply return to the Invaluable website on the day of the auction and click on the link to our auction. Now you can follow the auction live and bid in real time on the lot(s) that interest you.

We strongly recommend that newcomers register as bidders on Invaluable before the auction. This is because, in order to be accepted as a bidder, you will need to create an account with a username and password. If you would like help with this, please contact us by telephone 0041 31 819 61 61.

This is what you must do if you wish to submit a absentee bid:

Fill in the form, which will be posted on our website in good time and is also on the last page of the auction catalogue. Set the highest bid for the respective lot number(s). If you wish to participate by telephone, please state the telephone number on which you will certainly be reachable on the day of the auction.
